BIRMINGHAM MAN JAILED AFTER VIOLENT ASSAULT AND HARASSMENT OF EX-GIRLFRIEND
Hermon, who has been sentenced to 14 months detention, targeted his former partner and her friends and parents over an eight-week period, Birmingham Crown Court was told.
He admitted assault, five charges of criminal damage, and two of harassment.
He met the victim in December 2014, but their relationship deteriorated after four months, ending by November last year.
While she was having a bath, Hermon twice pushed her under the water, hitting her on her back and head, and used a towel to whip her and hit her with a mop pole.
He also lifted her out of the bath by her neck before leaving her locked in the property.
Hermon continued his campaign by attacking her at her friend's house in Stechford and later targeted her residence and her parents' address in Chelmsley Wood, smashing windows with bricks and rocks.
The judge said: "This catalogue of conduct continued." Hermon was sentenced to 14 months detention.
