JAY CREED PENSACOLA PAEDOPHILE FROM PENZANCE FACES JAIL TIME FOR CHILD SEXUAL OFFENSES

In a serious case heard at Truro Crown Court, Jay Creed, a 53-year-old man from Porthcurno, located west of Penzance, has admitted to serious criminal charges involving a minor. The proceedings took place via video-link from HMP Exeter, where Creed has been held since his arrest.

Creed pleaded guilty to three separate charges related to the exploitation of a child. Specifically, he admitted to two counts of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, as well as making indecent images of children. These offenses are alleged to have occurred over a period stretching from August 2020 to January 2021, highlighting a sustained pattern of criminal behavior.

The court proceedings revealed the gravity of the case, with Creed’s actions involving encouraging a child to produce explicit videos of themselves. Such offenses are considered particularly heinous due to the exploitation of a minor and the potential long-term harm inflicted.

Creed has been detained in prison since his arrest, and he is expected to remain behind bars until his sentencing, which is scheduled for March 19.
