JASON RADFORD FROM KETTERING SENTENCED FOR CHILD SEX OFFENSES IN NORTHAMPTON

In a disturbing case that has shocked the community of Kettering, Northampton Crown Court has extended the prison sentence of Jason Radford, a man convicted of serious sexual offenses involving minors. Radford, aged 30 and residing at Bonham Court in Kettering, was initially sentenced to seven years in July of the previous year after being found guilty of raping a 15-year-old girl at a party. However, the severity of his actions did not end there.

The court was informed that Radford engaged in sexual activity with another underage girl, a 15-year-old, while he was still on bail for his initial crime. This revelation came to light when the second victim sought medical attention, fearing she might be pregnant. The medical clinic, upon noticing signs that raised concerns, promptly reported the matter to the police. Radford was subsequently re-arrested in April 2011, marking a new chapter in his criminal proceedings.

The case was brought before Northampton Crown Court last Friday, where Radford admitted to two counts of sexual activity with a child. The court took into account his previous conviction and the new offenses, leading to an extension of his prison term by an additional 18 months. This means Radford will serve a total of more than eight years behind bars for his heinous crimes.

As part of his sentence, Radford will be placed on the Sex Offenders’ Register for life, ensuring ongoing monitoring and restrictions to protect the community from further harm.
