According to court proceedings, Guzikowski, aged 51 and residing on Vale Road in Mansfield Woodhouse, was found guilty of eight counts of rape. However, the nightmare resumed in 2012 when Guzikowski re-established contact with the now-older victim. The abuse continued during this period, further traumatizing her and compounding the severity of his crimes. The disturbing history of these offenses was brought to light when the victim reported the abuse to Nottinghamshire Police in 2019, prompting an investigation into Guzikowski’s actions.

Following a thorough legal process, Guzikowski was brought before Nottingham Crown Court, where he faced justice for his crimes. The court’s verdict was delivered on Wednesday, 28 April 2021, resulting in a substantial sentence of 30 years behind bars.
