FORMER POLICE OFFICER CHARGED WITH CHILD INDECENCY OFFENCES
A former special police constable has been charged with multiple indecent images offences.
Jamie Wallace has been charged with three counts of making indecent images of children according to Leicestershire Police.
Officers said that the offences are alleged to have been committed between December 2018 and October 2023.
The 21-year-old, of Leicestershire, is the third officer to have been charged with sexual offences in the past seven months.
Meanwhile, serving member of the force, Kristopher Ford, was charged with attempted rape.
The 35-year-old was also charged with six counts of sexual assault along with two other sexual offences in September last year.
Wallace is currently on police bail and is due to appear at Leicester Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, April 8.
