MAN JAILED AFTER SEXUAL MESSAGES TO 14-YEAR-OLD BOY

A man from Neath Port Talbot has received a prison sentence after admitting to charges related to child sex offences.

Jamie Davies, aged 34 and residing in Port Talbot, used Snapchat to proposition his 14-year-old victim by offering to prepare food for them in return for the child performing a sexual act in his presence.

In addition, Davies sent the young person a photograph of his genitals.

He admitted to encouraging a boy aged 13 to 15 to take part in sexual activity, possessing three indecent images of a child, and engaging in sexual communication with a minor.

Davies was sentenced to a total of 28 months behind bars.
