PAEDOPHILE WHO ATTEMPTED TO ARRANGE THE RAPE OF AN 11-YEAR-OLD IN A HOTEL IS JAILED
James Taylor-Falcao, who now resides in Upton, Chester, was living in Shropshire in June 2023 when he initiated contact with what he believed was a female on the social media platform Chat Avenue.
In reality, he was communicating with an undercover police officer assigned to identify sexual predators.
The court was informed that he described himself as a married man with “no limits,” a phrase commonly used by paedophiles to signal their intentions.
During their conversations, he detailed sexual acts he wished to perform on an 11-year-old girl and sent images of sex toys, expressing plans to abuse the child.
In September 2023, police raided his residence and recovered his phone, which contained 150 indecent images of children.
Although he denied any involvement, he was convicted of facilitating child sex offences and possessing indecent images.
He received a prison sentence of 12 years, with a minimum of eight years before he can be considered for parole, and was placed on the sex offenders register for life.
Additionally, he was issued a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
