NORTH WALSHAM MAN IN COURT OVER CHILD SEX OFFENCES

A male individual has appeared before the court, facing charges related to child sex crimes uncovered during an undercover police investigation.

The Norwich Magistrates’ Court was informed that the alleged offenses took place during September and October of 2024.

His next court appearance will be a plea and trial preparation hearing scheduled at Norwich Crown Court on June 5.

James Fernandez, aged 26 and from North Walsham, is accused of trying to persuade a 14-year-old girl to engage in sexual activities and of attempting to communicate sexually with a minor.
