On Thursday, July 7, he appeared before Bristol Crown Court for sentencing.
Judge Michael Longman sentenced him to ten months in prison.
The judge remarked that the woman felt traumatized, violated, and described her reactions as sick, shocked, angry, upset, mortified, paranoid, and uncomfortable.
Prosecutor Emily Evans stated that the woman had reported Campbell to authorities, who claimed his actions were a "moment of madness" while under the influence of alcohol.
Nonetheless, Campbell also admitted to installing a spy camera in her bedroom that recorded her on several occasions.
Defense lawyer Tony Bignall conveyed Campbell's remorse, noting that he felt deep shame and regret.
Bignall added that Campbell had cooperated with police, was participating in probation programs, and hoped to rejoin the workforce after a period of redundancy.
