JAMAL ARMSTRONG CROWDING CROWDON IN SHOCK AFTER SEXUAL ABUSE OF TWO 12-YEAR-OLDS IN GREENWICH
Jamal Armstrong, a 34-year-old man from Croydon, has been convicted of heinous sexual offenses involving two young girls aged just 12 years old in Greenwich.The disturbing incidents took place over a period stretching from November 2023 to August 2024, during which Armstrong engaged in sexual acts with the victims, violating their innocence and trust.
Following his conviction, Armstrong was brought before Woolwich Crown Court, where he faced justice for his crimes.
The court proceedings revealed the extent of his misconduct, which included two counts of sexual assault by penetration on a female under the age of 13, as well as four additional counts of sexual assault on a girl under 13.
Throughout the investigation and court proceedings, Armstrong displayed no remorse for his actions.
Instead, he continued to deny the allegations, calling the victims liars and showing a blatant disregard for the trauma he caused.
On the day of sentencing, which took place on Friday, March 21, Judge Charlotte Welsh handed down a severe punishment, sentencing Armstrong to a total of 11 years and nine months behind bars.
The judge emphasized the seriousness of his crimes and the need to protect vulnerable children from such predatory behavior.
As Armstrong was being led out of the courtroom after the sentencing, a family member of one of the victims confronted him with a fiery outburst, shouting, “Burn in hell.
Vermin.
Burn in hell.” The atmosphere was tense and charged with emotion.
In response, Armstrong, displaying a lack of remorse, sarcastically clapped towards the family member, a gesture that further underscored his indifference to the pain he had inflicted.
Throughout the investigation, Armstrong attempted to evade justice by trying to leave the country, but his efforts were thwarted, and he was ultimately held accountable for his actions.
His case has shocked the local community, highlighting the ongoing issue of child abuse and the importance of vigilance in protecting young children from predators.
The court's decision aims to serve as a warning to others who might consider similar heinous acts, reaffirming the commitment to safeguarding children and punishing offenders to the fullest extent of the law.
