SOUTHAMPTON TEEN CHARGED WITH MANSLAUGHTER AND KIDNAPPING AFTER WOMAN FALLS FROM FLATS
A teenager has been charged with the manslaughter and kidnap of woman who died after falling from a block of flats last week.
Tia Langdon, 25, was found with significant injuries after the incident on Cuckmere Lane in Southampton on Thursday.
She was rushed to the hospital following the balcony fall but was pronounced dead the following day despite medical efforts.
Police stated that a man and woman had been at the address with Ms Langdon during the incident.
Jaiden Hassan-Agard, of Stour Close, Southampton, was arrested and was charged with manslaughter on Monday evening.
The 18-year-old was also charged with making threats to kill, false imprisonment, threatening with an offensive weapon in a private place concerning Ms Langdon and another woman present at the address, and kidnap related to the second victim.
Hassan-Agard has been remanded in custody to appear before Southampton Magistrates' Court soon.
