JAHMEL FLEMMING, 28, FOUND GUILTY OF READING RAPES
A rapist "showed no regard" for his victim carried out repeated attacks both in public and in private.Jahmel Flemming subjected a woman to a relentless series of serious physical assaults on December 13, 2024 while in Reading.
The 28-year-old pulled her hair and punched her repeatedly, leaving her with a fractured cheekbone.
She also suffered severe swelling and bruising to her face and body at the hands of Flemming, of Eldon Park in London.
Then inside a property, Flemming sexually assaulted and raped the victim, while using physical violence against her.
Flemming was arrested on the same day as the offences and charged the next day.
Further charges were made by postal requisition on January 28 this year.
He was found guilty by the jury of three counts of actual bodily harm, two counts of rape, one count of sexual assault, one count of sexual assault by penetration and one count of assault.
He pleaded guilty to one count of common assault but was found not guilty of one count of intentional strangulation.
At a sentencing at Reading Crown Court on September 30, Flemming was sentenced to thirteen and a half years in prison.
