JACK ROBINSON FROM HARTLEPOOL SENTENCED FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT ON WOMAN

In a disturbing incident that took place in Hartlepool, 18-year-old Jack Robinson was found guilty of a serious sexual assault involving a woman. The court heard that Robinson, despite the victim's repeated pleas for him to stop, persistently attempted to kiss and embrace her. The situation escalated when he forcibly restrained her against a wall, during which he inappropriately groped her over her clothing, causing significant distress.

The victim, who has chosen to remain anonymous, described the incident as profoundly traumatic. She stated that the ordeal has left her feeling robbed of her independence and has had a lasting impact on her well-being.

It was revealed during the court proceedings that Robinson was only 16 years old at the time of the assault. He resides on Kintra Road in the Owton Manor area of Hartlepool. Despite his young age, Robinson was identified through an identity parade, although he claimed to have no memory of the assault, which the court found to be a denial of responsibility.

Robinson's criminal history includes previous offences for which he had been subject to court orders. However, court officials noted that he has been making progress in his rehabilitation efforts. Despite this, his recent actions warranted a serious response.

Ultimately, Robinson pleaded guilty to the charge of sexual assault. On October 25, he was sentenced to an 18-month community order, which includes 25 days of participation in rehabilitation activities aimed at addressing his behavior and preventing future offences.
