PUB CHEF SENTENCED TO 3 YEARS FOR CHILD SEXUAL GROOMING AND EXTREME PORN
Pervert pub chef Jack Pearce has been jailed after engaging in online sexual communications with a person he believed was a 13-year-old girl.
The 35-year-old, who previously worked at a pub in Stoke-on-Trent, sent messages via the Kik social media platform including questions about watching porn and performing sex acts on herself.
He also expressed a desire to meet for sex.
In reality, he was communicating with an undercover police officer.
Pearce was arrested at his home in Bradeley and his phone was seized, revealing explicit communications and his sexual interest in the minor.
The police found eight images and videos, including extreme and criminal images such as bestiality, images of violence, and prohibited material involving children.
Pearce pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including attempting to incite a child to engage in sexual activity, attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child, possession of extreme pornographic images, and publishing obscene articles.
He was sentenced to three years in prison, placed on the sex offenders' register for life, and made the subject of an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
He has expressed remorse and is currently working as a chef in Devon, having relocated following his arrest.
