COVENTRY MAN JAILED FOR CHILD ABUSE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT
A Coventry man who abused a young boy has been jailed.
Jack Alexander Connell was said to have caused the defenceless victim 'serious physical harm.' Connell, 33, physically abused a toddler between March and July 2020.
He assaulted and sexually touched the young victim, who cannot be identified for legal reasons.
Connell, of Page Road, Coventry, was found guilty of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, assault of a child under 13 by penetration, cruelty to a person under 16, and sexual assault of a child under 13.
He was sentenced to 14 years in jail and is also subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO).
