HOMELESS MAN JAILED FOR FLASHING AT TWO TEENS AT GLASGOW CENTRAL STATION
A MAN has been jailed after exposing himself in front of two schoolgirls at Glasgow Central Station.Hugh McInnes, 49, of no fixed address, was convicted of public indecency and a sexually aggravated breach of the peace at Glasgow Sheriff Court on July 26.He was sentenced to 16 weeks imprisonment for the offences, following a British Transport Police investigation.On May 27, McInnes was sitting at the Argyle Street entrance to Glasgow Central Station, when he exposed himself in the presence of two girls aged 14 and 15.The incident was reported to British Transport Police, and he was arrested by officers who quickly attended the scene.“We will always take reports of sexual offences seriously, and in this case were able to quickly arrest the suspect at the scene and bring him before the courts.“If you are ever a victim of a sexual offence or sexual harassment on the railway network, you can text us discreetly on 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40.In an emergency always call 999.”
