BRUTE REPEATEDLY STAMPED ON YOUNG GIRL'S HEAD IN BARRHEAD
A brute repeatedly stamped on a young girl’s head.Thug Harley Craig admitted he assaulted the female in April last year, at a property in Barrhead causing her injury and to the “danger of her life.” Craig, who turned 19 at the weekend, uttered threats of violence towards the girl who can’t be named for legal reasons.
The bully struck her on the head with a glass bottle causing it to smash, repeatedly punched and kicked her on the body.
The thug, described as a prisoner of HMP And YOI Stirling, repeatedly pushed the girl on the body, punched her on the body which caused her to fall to the ground and while she was on the ground the brute repeatedly stamped on her head and body and repeatedly punched her neck, all to her “injury and danger of life.” Craig committed this offence while on five separate bail orders granted at Paisley Sheriff Court.
Craig’s defence agent asked for reports to be prepared.
Sheriff Sheena Fraser adjourned sentencing for a criminal justice social work report and a restriction of liberty order assessment.
Craig was remanded in custody and will return to court for sentencing next month.
