EAST LONDON MEN JAILED FOR SEXUALLY ABUSING YOUNG BOY IN SHOP
A shopkeeper and shop owner have been sentenced to prison for sexually assaulting a young boy inside their store located in Tower Hamlets.The men formed a friendship with the child, which was followed by four separate assaults over a three-week period.
All of these incidents took place within the store premises, with some attacks occurring in the storeroom.
According to reports, Hannan Ullah, aged 57 and residing on Longbridge Road in Barking, received a prison sentence of two years and four months, with 14 months to be served on licence.
Both men were also issued an indefinite restraining order preventing them from contacting the victim directly or indirectly.
The court proceedings revealed that the shopkeeper and owner befriended the boy, who would spend time inside the shop, and assaulted him between January 15 and February 2 of 2018.
The final assault was reported by the boy to his mother, and the incident was witnessed by other boys present in the store at the time.
