A disturbing series of criminal activities involving the exploitation of young girls has come to light in Newcastle, with Habibur Rahim among those convicted for his role in a systematic and cynical operation targeting vulnerable victims.

The case, which spanned several years and involved multiple trials, uncovered a horrifying network where girls as young as 14 were manipulated, drugged, and coerced into sexual acts.

According to court proceedings, eighteen individuals have been found guilty of heinous crimes including rape, drug distribution, and conspiracy to facilitate prostitution.

The victims, numbering 22 in total, provided harrowing testimonies over four separate trials that examined offenses committed between 2011 and 2014.

The accused, originating from diverse communities such as Bangladeshi, Pakistani, Indian, Iraqi, Iranian, and Turkish, were predominantly residents of Newcastle's West End.

Among the defendants, four have already received prison sentences, while the remaining will be sentenced in the upcoming month.
