Brightwell appeared before Isleworth Crown Court on Thursday, 17 September, where he received a total prison sentence of 11 years.

One victim recounted that the abuse persisted for approximately eight years, concluding only when he reached the age of 16.
Following the allegations, Brightwell was arrested in April 2018.
His guilty plea was entered on 3 June 2020, bringing a measure of closure to the long-running case.
