GEORGEFF SHARP FROM DARTFORD AND WELLING JAILED FOR CHILD PORNOGRAPHY

In a case that has shocked the local communities of Dartford and Welling, Geoffrey Sharp, a 30-year-old teacher, was sentenced to 18 months in prison after police uncovered a disturbing collection of child pornography on his personal computer. The incident came to light in February when authorities conducted a raid on his residence located at The Cloisters, Orchard Street, Dartford.

During the police operation, officers discovered a staggering total of over 100,000 pornographic images stored on Sharp's computer. Among these, investigators identified 310 images depicting children in various states of sexual exploitation. Alarmingly, six of these images were classified in the highest category of severity, indicating the most serious level of child abuse content.

Following his arrest, Sharp was immediately suspended from his teaching position at Welling School, situated on Elsa Road in Welling. The authorities took further action by disqualifying him from working with children, a restriction that will remain in effect for ten years. Additionally, Judge Stephen Robbins ordered Sharp to be registered on the sex offenders' register for a decade, emphasizing the gravity of his offenses and the potential risk he poses to the community.
