MAN ON A DRUNKEN BENDER AFTER RELATIONSHIP BREAKDOWN GROPED CARE WORKER'S BOTTOM

A man named Gary Pickett was involved in a series of aggressive and sexual misconduct incidents.

He sexually assaulted a care home worker when she asked him to step aside for a vulnerable resident, groping her bottom and shoving another carer into the road when she intervened.

During the confrontation, Pickett called a female carer a “smelly c**t,” and police were contacted.

Later, officers located him at Healds Hall Hotel in Liversedge, where he was acting aggressively and refused to leave.

He resisted arrest, tried to headbutt officers, and attempted to bite a female police officer twice.

Pickett stated he did not remember the incidents because he was too intoxicated.

He pleaded guilty to sexual assault, threatening behavior, assault by beating, and resisting a police officer.

The court sentenced him to a community order with 10 rehabilitation activity days aimed at addressing his offending behavior and ordered him to pay an £85 victim surcharge.
