GARY MOORHEAD SENTENCED IN GATESHEAD FOR CHILD SEX ABUSE CRIMES

Despite Moorhead's insistence on his innocence, the jury found him guilty of a series of historical crimes, including engaging in sexual intercourse with a minor and committing indecent assault.
The victim, who came forward years after the abuse occurred, provided a detailed account of her experiences, describing Moorhead as someone who had deceptively presented himself as a respectable member of the community in Gateshead.
She further characterized him as a manipulative and cunning individual who had exploited her trust for his own sinister purposes.
