A man from High Wycombe has been jailed for several child sex offenses involving three victims after an investigation carried out by Thames Valley Police.

Fayyaz Haider, aged 45 and living on Doolittle Avenue, appeared before Amersham Crown Court on July 4, where he received a sentence of six years and four months imprisonment.

He will also be under an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order and notification requirements.

Haider pleaded guilty to four counts of sexual activity with a child, three counts of intentional strangulation, and two counts of encouraging or causing a child under 13 to participate in sexual acts.

The criminal behaviors took place over multiple periods, first between 2015 and 2018, and again from 2021 until October 2024 in High Wycombe, involving two girls and a boy who was physically abused.

He was detained by police on October 17, 2024, and charged two days later, on October 19.

Following this, he was remanded in custody.

Detective Constable Laura Green, a member of the Child Abuse Investigation Unit based in Aylesbury, praised the victims for their strength and bravery.

She also reiterated the police’s commitment to pursuing justice for childhood abuse victims, regardless of when the offenses happened, illustrating their ongoing efforts to support and protect vulnerable individuals.
