MAN CHARGED WITH MULTIPLE RAPES AND SEXUAL ASSAULT IN HENLEY
A man has been charged with rape after an alleged attack on a woman in Henley.Andrew Dent, aged 54, of Desborough Road in High Wycombe, has been charged with nine counts of rape, five counts of sexual assault by penetration, three counts of intentional strangulation, two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and one count of voyeurism.
The charges relate to two women who were allegedly raped, sexually assaulted, strangled, and assaulted on separate occasions after meeting via a dating website or app.
One of the victims, a woman in her 30s from south Wales, was attacked and had intimate photographs taken without her consent in a West Berkshire hotel on June 19, 2024.
The other victim, in her 50s from London, was at an address in Henley, south Oxfordshire, on October 26, 2024.
Dent was remanded in custody after being charged and is due to appear at Reading Crown Court on March 4.
