ENDAF EVANS FROM CARMARTHEN SENTENCED FOR CHILD INDECENT IMAGE POSSESSION
A man with a troubling history of child abuse convictions has been legally mandated to register as a sex offender following his admission of possessing indecent images.The individual, Endaf Evans, aged 44 and residing in Cynwyl Elfed near Carmarthen, was found to be in possession of a significant collection of illicit material.
Authorities executed a search warrant at Evans' residence, which led to the discovery of over 1,200 images depicting children, including those classified under the most serious categories of indecency.
The police investigation revealed that Evans had a substantial collection, although it was described as relatively small in comparison to some cases, but nonetheless serious enough to warrant legal action.
During the inquiry, Evans cooperated with law enforcement officials, providing information and assisting with the investigation.
His guilty plea to the charges of possessing indecent images resulted in a court ruling that he must undergo a three-year supervision order.
