DATING NOVICE THREATENED TO KILL HULL WOMAN HE OBSESSED OVER ON SNAPCHAT

Dylon Davies, 23, and from Birmingham, was jailed for two years and three months and given an indefinite restraining order.

An obsessed and "sinister" dating novice threatened to murder a terrified woman and rape her daughter after bombarding her with more than 500 telephone calls in just one day.

Davies also pestered her with 149 calls "in a row" on another day and 70 more during a rage on a third day.

He managed to find out where she lived and turned up on her doorstep even though she had never told him, Hull Crown Court heard.

Davies angrily demanded she pay him £250 for wasted train fares and expenses after she canceled meeting him.

He had never had sex with a woman before and did not know how to behave over social norms, the court was told.

The court described his behavior as obsessive, abusive, and frightening, noting that he threatened to kill her and her daughter if she did not pay him, and that he broke her window with a brick.

Following his arrest, Davies admitted harassment and causing criminal damage.

He was previously in breach of a suspended sentence for threats to kill, possessing a knife, and threatening behavior.
