A MAN has admitted to being in possession of indecent images and videos of children – including which portrayed a child between the age of one and two years old.Dominic Fusco entered guilty pleas to three counts of making indecent photographs / pseudo-photographs of a child at South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court on October 6.
Lee Dacre, prosecuting, said Cumbria Police received a referral from an external law enforcement agency alerting them to their belief that the 29-year-old defendant had indecent images.
Officers searched the defendant’s address at the time in Ulverston and seized five electronic devices.
The devices were examined and on one mobile phone, Fusco was found to be in possession of 28 Category A images, 12 Category B images and four Category C images.
Category A images are the most extreme.
Mr Dacre said the magistrates’ courts power of sentence were insufficient to pass sentence.
He said an aggravating factor was some of the Category A images included a child aged between one and two years old.
Magistrates ordered for a pre-sentence report to be prepared before Fusco, of Manor Farm Drive, Leeds, is sentenced before a judge at Preston Crown Court on November 17.
