MAN FACES COURT OVER FAILURES TO REGISTER AS SEX OFFENDER
Dillan Warry appeared at West Hampshire Magistrates Court yesterday for his first hearing. The defendant is charged with failing to comply with notification requirements under the Sexual Offences Act 2003.
The case was listed under reference 44SC0335725.
Warry did not enter a plea during the brief hearing and was remanded in custody until the next session.
The charge stems from allegations that he did not update the authorities as required under UK law for sex offenders.
The court must now decide on bail or remand until the case continues.
The Magistrates' Court is set to review the case in future hearings, which could lead to a trial if a plea is entered or if the case proceeds to further investigation.
Legal proceedings follow strict rules, and all charges are denied until proven in court.
Warry’s next appearance will be scheduled by the authorities.
