AMMANFORD PAEDOPHILE DEVON WILDGUST SENTENCED FOR CHILD SEX OFFENCES
Ammanford Father Devon Wildgust pleaded guilty today (24/11/2025) to 3 child sex offences at Llanelli Magistrates Court.22 Year old father-of-one Wildgust had been caught sexually communicating with what he believed to be 2 children.
One child decoy, aged 13 was groomed over a number of days whilst a second 14 year old child was also contacted.
Wildgust, repeatedly asked the children to send him indecent images and sent sexually explicit material including videos of him masturbating.
Alarmingly, Wilgust had told one child that he "had sex" with his "best mates little sister" who was also 13.
Dramatic scenes unfolded at Lon-Y-Gruglas, Penybanc on the evening of the 22nd of November 2025 as Wildgust was stung by Paedophile hunters outside his home address.
Members of Red Rose and Predator Awareness conducted a joint ground sting operation following the interception of online communication.
Wildgust made a desperate attempt to flee the citizens arrest assaulting multiple members of the team before being huckled to the ground and contained prior to police arrival.
During a Facebook live by Predator Awareness, Wildgust made an admission that he had been talking to the children sexually because he was looking for a girlfriend and thought the children may have actually been "grown ass men" or "bots" Following the guilty plea, he was granted conditional court bail and is set to appear at Swansea Crown Court on the 15th of December 2025.
—————————————————————————————————— Update Devon Wildgust was back before Llanelli Magistrates Court on 26 November 2025 after breaching the bail conditions imposed following his earlier guilty pleas.
Wildgust admitted the breach in full, and magistrates immediately revoked his bail and remanded him into custody.
He will remain behind bars until his next appearance at Swansea Crown Court on 15 December 2025, where he is due to be sentenced for the child sexual offences he previously admitted.
——————————————————————————————————- At Swansea Crown Court, Devon Wildgust was sentenced to two years’ imprisonment for the child sexual offences he had previously admitted.
The court also imposed ten years on the Sex Offenders Register, alongside a ten-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO), placing strict long-term restrictions on his behaviour and access to children.
The judge made clear that the custodial sentence reflected both the seriousness of the offences and Wildgust’s failure to comply with bail conditions, underlining the ongoing risk he poses to the public.
