DAVID WILSON FROM LEEDS AND DRIFFIELD JAILED FOR RAPE OF 10-YEAR-OLD GIRL WHILE BABYSITTING

In a disturbing case that has shocked the communities of Driffield and Leeds, David Wilson has been sentenced to prison for the heinous crime of raping a young girl he was entrusted to care for. The incident took place in 2004 when Wilson, then just 16 years old, was babysitting a 10-year-old girl in Driffield. Despite his young age, Wilson was given the responsibility of looking after the child, a trust that was severely betrayed by his actions.

The court proceedings revealed that Wilson, aged 21 at the time of sentencing, had been waiting for his girlfriend to arrive at the residence where he was babysitting. His plan was to have sex with her, and when she failed to show up, he allegedly turned his attention to the young girl. The court was told that Wilson proceeded to commit the assault despite the girl’s protests, telling him to stop. After the assault, he warned her not to tell anyone about what had happened, attempting to silence her and conceal his crime.

The case was brought before Hull Crown Court, where Wilson pleaded guilty to the charge of rape. Recorder Rodney Jameson QC sentenced him to three years and four months in prison, emphasizing the severity of the crime.
