Dunfermline man David Vincent was sentenced to two years in a New York State prison after being convicted of serious sexual offences against two underage girls, aged 12 and 14.Born on November 6, 1990, Vincent was 21 years old at the time of the offences, which occurred on March 27, 2012.
He was formally convicted on September 10, 2014, under New York Penal Law 130.30(01) for Attempted Rape in the Second Degree This statute applies when an adult attempts to engage in sexual intercourse with a person under the age of 15.
According to the New York State Sex Offender Registry, Vincent’s crimes involved multiple instances of sexual intercourse and sexual contact.
The official records also confirm that he promoted or possessed a sexual performance by a child.
The offences included the use of a computer and involved child pornography.
Although no weapons or physical force were used, both victims were known to Vincent, and the actions were not isolated incidents.
Vincent was registered as a Level 3 sex offender, indicating a high risk of reoffending.
His Offender ID was 45901, and he was recorded as a white male, 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 156 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
He was arrested by the Madison County Sheriff’s Office and subsequently deported after completing his prison sentence.
Despite his deportation, David Vincent has since returned to the United Kingdom and is now residing in Fife, Scotland.
