PERVERT WITH FETISH FOR COW MANURE IS LOCKED UP
A serial pervert known for his bizarre and perverted activities involving a fetish for cow manure has been jailed for two years.David Truscott, 41, was discovered naked and covered in manure and mud in a field by the farmer’s 16-year-old son on February 26 this year.
Truscott’s disturbing history includes multiple offences linked to his fetish, such as breaking into a farm in Cornwall in 2004 and masturbating in a muck spreader, which made him so angry that he set fire to a cattle pen containing a cow and her twin calves, resulting in their deaths.
He was previously jailed for arson and burglary related to these acts.
In 2009, he again broke into the farm at night, undressed, and masturbated in a muck spreader.
During sentencing, Judge Christopher Elwen criticized his long-standing actions, stating, "For a period of at least six years, if not longer, you have made the home life of the Roth family absolute hell through your bizarre fetish and disgusting behaviour." Truscott has also breached a restraining order and was found cowering in a field, naked except for one sock, covered in excrement and mud.
His actions caused significant fear and distress to the family, especially to the young children for whom they had to reassure that their home was safe.
The court heard that Truscott was first caught in 2004 and sentenced to 16 weeks for breaking a restraining order, and later, a three-year sentence for arson and burglary.
Prosecutor Gareth Evans highlighted the profound impact of his actions on the family, with the family living in constant fear.
Truscott’s defense claimed he was a vulnerable man with learning disabilities and possible autism, suffering from stress at the time of his offences, and that he has shown remorse and the ability to moderate his behavior.
Despite this, the judge rejected pleas for a suspended sentence, emphasizing that Truscott’s activities were a gross violation of social norms and safety, and he was sentenced to serve two years for breaching the order and an additional three months for harassment.
