DAVID THOMPSON FROM DYSART, FIFE, ADMITS TO POSSESSING THOUSANDS OF CHILD INDECENT IMAGES

In a serious case heard at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court, David Earl Thompson, a 44-year-old resident of Dysart in Fife, has pleaded guilty to the possession and creation of a vast collection of indecent images depicting the sexual abuse of minors. The court was informed that Thompson had amassed over 22,000 such images, which he had downloaded over a period spanning from 2011 to 2014.
