David Smith, also known as Brian Warwick, has once again come under scrutiny for his reckless attempts to re-enter communities despite his criminal past. Smith, a registered sex offender, sought to ingratiate himself into local social settings by offering his DJ services at a community hub, a move that has raised serious concerns about public safety and the effectiveness of existing restrictions.

Despite being under a court-imposed order that explicitly prohibited him from having any contact with children, Smith volunteered to provide music at a children's party held at a community venue. During this event, he played song requests from children without informing the organizers of his prior convictions or his current legal restrictions. This blatant disregard for the court's orders highlights his ongoing attempts to manipulate community trust and access vulnerable minors.

Smith's criminal history dates back to 2014, when he was sentenced to five years in prison for grooming and sexually abusing an underage girl. Following his release, he failed to comply with the conditions of his sexual harm prevention order by neglecting to update police authorities with his new address. It was later discovered that Smith was residing in Blackpool with a new partner. True to his words, he later defecated in the police vehicle, demonstrating his defiance and dangerous behavior.

He pleaded guilty to all charges, and his actions prompted a swift judicial response. Judge Joanne Kidd sentenced him to two years in prison, expressing grave concern over his persistent efforts to access children despite his criminal record.
