SCOTTISH CARE WORKER BANNED FOR SEXUAL ABUSE OF VULNERABLE WOMAN
A social services employee in Scotland has been permanently disqualified from working in the care sector after being found responsible for a serious case of sexual misconduct involving a vulnerable service user.The individual, David Phillips, engaged in a sexual relationship with a woman under his care, beginning in April 2020 and continuing until October of the same year.

He exploited his position by taking advantage of her vulnerability as a service user and repeatedly broke professional boundaries.
His behavior was characterized as showing "insufficient insight and no genuine remorse," with a continued risk of reoffending.
As a result, he was removed from the SSSC register indefinitely, preventing him from practicing in the care sector.
