KIRKCALDY MAN SENTENCED FOR GROOMING AND CHILD EXPLOITATION OFFENCES
David Paul, a 37-year-old man from Kirkcaldy, has pled guilty to multiple serious offences involving the grooming and sexual exploitation of a real 15-year-old child.Following an investigation by authorities, Paul was charged and convicted for engaging in online activities that targeted and endangered a minor.
David Paul admitted guilt to the following offences: Requesting indecent images of a minor Sending indecent images to a child under the age of 16 Sending sexually explicit messages to a child under 16 Possessing indecent images of a child Arranging to meet a child with the intent of sexual contact The case was treated as a real child victim case, and the identity of the child involved has been strictly protected to preserve her safety and privacy.
Sentence Issued in July 2024 The court handed down the following sentence in July 2024: 🔴 Community Payback Order 🔴 24-month Supervision Order 🔴 133 hours of unpaid work to be completed over 9 months 🔴 Prohibition from having any contact with children under 16 without prior approval 🔴 Inclusion on the Sex Offenders Register for 5 years
