DAVID MILLIGAN SENTENCED IN DUNFERLINE FOR DOMESTIC ASSAULT
A 42-year-old man named David Milligan, currently residing at Quality Street, Dysart, was brought before Dunfermline Sheriff Court to be sentenced after pleading guilty to a domestic assault.
The incident occurred on April 2 at a residence in Dunfermline, where Milligan was found to have assaulted his partner by grabbing her by the throat and holding her down on a bed.
The court was also informed that Milligan had a previous domestic-related offence against the same woman back in 2019.
Sheriff Francis Gill sentenced Milligan to a community payback order, which includes a year of supervision and 110 hours of unpaid work.
Additionally, a non-harassment order was issued against him for three years.
