DAVID GROOM CAUGHT IN RICHMOND FOR ONLINE PREDATORY BEHAVIOR NEAR SCHOOL

A man identified as David Groom, aged 28, was apprehended in connection with a disturbing online predatory scheme targeting children in the Richmond area. Groom had been engaging in deceptive online interactions by disguising himself as a woman, with the intent of establishing contact with minors. His actions escalated when he requested to meet children near a local school, raising serious concerns about his intentions.

According to reports, Groom's misconduct came to light after he showed a taxi driver a photograph of a girl, which was part of his attempt to lure or communicate with children. The police investigation revealed that Groom possessed indecent images, which were discovered during a search of his residence.
