DAVID COX FROM BANCHORY SENTENCED TO SEVEN YEARS FOR HORRIFIC SEX CRIMES IN SCOTLAND
A 70-year-old man from Banchory, David Cox, has been handed a seven-year prison sentence after being convicted of multiple serious sex offenses.The crimes, which spanned over three decades from 1983 to 2013, involved heinous acts committed within the town of Banchory, located in the north-east of Scotland.
Cox, who previously worked in the oil industry both in the UK and abroad, was found guilty of three counts of rape and an additional charge of indecent conduct towards a young girl.
The conviction was delivered at the High Court in Edinburgh, where Judge Alison Stirling emphasized the gravity of Cox’s offenses, stating that such serious crimes warranted only a custodial sentence.
