DARREN ROWLINGS FROM BRACKNELL SENTENCED TO FIVE YEARS FOR CHILD EXPLOITATION IMAGES AND OBSTRUCTING JUSTICE

In a serious case that has shocked the community of Bracknell, Darren Rowlings, aged 41, has been handed a five-year prison sentence after being found guilty of possessing indecent images of children. The incident unfolded when police officers, acting on intelligence, discovered Rowlings attempting to destroy evidence in his own home.

On a day in August 2016, officers from the Thames Valley Police Paedophile Online Investigation Team arrived at Rowlings' residence on Mount Lane in Bracknell. Their visit was authorized by a warrant issued under the Section Four Protection of Children Act 1978, following reports that Rowlings had been accessing and viewing indecent images of minors. Despite knocking on the door, Rowlings did not respond, but the officers could hear a fire alarm ringing from inside the property, raising suspicions of ongoing activity.
