At Warwick Crown Court this week, 24-year-old Daniell Middleton received a prison sentence of 22 months, which was suspended for a period of 18 months.
This followed his earlier admission to two counts of causing actual bodily harm (ABH) to his former girlfriend.
Warwickshire Police have stated that Middleton has since relocated away from the area where the crimes took place.
In addition to the suspended prison term, he is required to complete 200 hours of unpaid work within the next year.
Middleton also needs to attend a recognised rehabilitation program for a total of 26 days and meet a requirement for additional rehabilitation activities.
