A man named Daniel Little, aged 34, from Warrington, Cheshire, was involved in a severe domestic assault and false imprisonment of his partner, Rosie Frankish.Rosie, 26, had endured years of abuse, including being assaulted while pregnant and subjected to emotional and physical control.
The incident culminated when Little forced his way into her home and launched a six-hour attack, during which he pinned her against the fridge, assaulted her repeatedly, and smeared dog faeces in her face.
Rosie managed to secretly alert a taxi driver during a ride and instructed him to drive away without stopping, which ultimately helped her escape.

Little was arrested shortly afterward, admitted to assault and false imprisonment in court, and was sentenced to three years and seven months in prison, of which he will serve half.
