WORCESTER MAN DUE IN COURT OVER CHILD SEX OFFENCES
A 34-year-old man is due in court for child sex offences, including having sex in the presence of a child and encouraging a child to engage in sexual activity.Daniel Homer of Milward Close, Worcester, faces a number of sexual offence charges when he appears at Worcester Magistrates Court today (Tuesday).
He faces two charges of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child between March 31 and June 1 last year in Worcester.
The offences are alleged to have taken place when Homer knew or believed that the child was, or intending that the child should be, aware that he was engaging in that activity.
Homer faces a further charge that he caused or incited a boy under 13 to engage in sexual activity between the same dates, to 'masturbate in return for money'.
Homer is also charged with taking an indecent photograph/pseudo-photograph of a child in Worcester on November 3, 2022 (two category C images of a child).
He is also accused of failing to comply with notification requirements of the sex offenders register between March 1 and July 27 last year.
