COLNE CAGE FIGHTER AVOIDED JAIL AFTER ONLINE CHILD GROOMING CASE
A cage fighter from Colne was involved in a disturbing case where he reached out to a decoy online posing as a 13-year-old girl.
The court heard that Danial Heuer sent lewd messages and explicit pictures of himself, including a sexual interest in the girl's feet, and discussed meeting up for sexual activity.
Despite claiming to be a retired cage fighter, he engaged in graphic sexual conversations and sent naked images.
Heuer arranged to meet the girl at Tesco in Bury, where police apprehended him as he entered the store.
During his arrest, officers found a sachet of stimulating rub and traces of cocaine.
The court sentenced him to a three-year community order, including participation in a sex offender's program, and a 10-year sexual harm prevention order.
He was also fined £500.
The judge expressed concern over his continued offenses despite having a daughter of a similar age.
