AYR SEX OFFENDER AVOIDS JAIL AFTER ASSAULT ON GIRL

A man, Damion Finlayson, has been involved in a sexual assault incident involving a 17-year-old girl in Ayr.

Finlayson, aged 28, pleaded guilty to multiple charges relating to the incident that occurred on May 8 this year, in Main Street, Viewfield Gate, and Russell Drive.

During the incident, he admitted to repeatedly pulling her hair, striking her on the buttocks, and touching her breasts and buttocks.

When he appeared at Ayr Sheriff Court for sentencing, he was not jailed but was instead placed on a community payback order as an alternative to custody, which includes social work supervision for three years.

Additionally, Finlayson will be subject to police notification requirements on the sex offenders register for three years.

    His name is actually spelled Damion Finlayson and he is living in Church Court Ayr not Church Street he has 2 children & he is a serial abuser he has abused at least 4 woman including sexually abusing at least one of them
