A man is in custody after allegedly sexually assaulting two teenage girls, attacking two police officers and trashing his cell.A man is in custody after allegedly sexually assaulting two teenage girls, aged 13 and 15, on the evening of March 27.
West Midlands Police responded following a 999 call reporting the assaults.
He reportedly assaulted two officers during his journey to custody and caused damage to his cell.
The defendant is scheduled for questioning by detectives soon.
The neighbourhood team stated: "This morning we responded to a call about a male who had just allegedly sexually assaulted a 13 and 15 year old girl.
We located him while our response colleagues spent time with the victims to obtain their account and ensure they are safeguarded and supported.
We took the suspect to custody and on the way he was further arrested for assaulting two officers on the team and for criminal damage in his cell.
He remains in custody for interview by specialist investigation officers."
