Gym Predator’s Shocking Scam Exposed Curtis Arnold, 36, now using the alias Daniel James Edwards aka “DJE MEDIA,” conned women and teenage girls across London gyms.He promised a fake “leggings modelling” job.
Posing as a sportswear company boss, he lured victims into flashing skimpy workout gear—while secretly filming them.
Disturbing Court Revelations: Fraud, Voyeurism & Child Abuse Back in 2019, Harrow Crown Court heard Arnold plead guilty to a string of vile crimes including: 12 counts of fraud 1 count of voyeurism 1 count of sexual coercion without consent 1 count of making indecent images of a child The judge slammed Arnold’s “elaborate deception” that lasted over three years.
He used a fake business and partner to pressure victims into revealing poses.
Some victims were horrified to discover their intimate videos and photos leaked online.
One victim was just 17 years old.
Arnold was sentenced to 40 months in prison in 2019, later reduced to 34 months.
But that’s not the end of it.
Her Honour Judge Dean slapped him with a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) that traps him legally until 2029.
The SHPO bans Arnold from: - Owning or using devices with digital image storage unless police-approved - Installing encryption or scrub software beyond basic device needs Plus, he must stay registered on the Sex Offenders Register for life.
Police have the power to monitor him and demand strict compliance anytime.
When confronted, Arnold bizarrely claimed his convictions were “spent” and tried to deny ongoing restrictions.
But the law is crystal clear: “**A Sexual Harm Prevention Order remains fully enforceable for its full term regardless of spent convictions or completed custodial sentences.**” His decade-long SHPO stays firmly in place.
The watchdogs are watching him closely.
