NEWCASTLE-UNDER-LYME MAN JAILED FOR SEXUALLY ASSAULTING VULNERABLE WOMAN
A predator named Craig Potts has been sentenced after he forcibly made a woman engage in sexual acts with his associates early last year.The victim, described as vulnerable, bravely reported the incident after a friend encouraged her to contact the police.
Potts, who resides in Newcastle-under-Lyme, was arrested in May and initially denied the allegations.
However, the jury found him guilty of causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent after the trial.
He was sentenced to eight years in prison, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £228, and will be under a lifelong sexual offender notification requirement upon release.
