A man with a criminal record who was employed at Amazon has received a sentence of one year in prison for sharing revenge porn.
Cory Slade, 29 years old from Newport, Wales, secretly captured explicit images of a woman following a sexual relationship, later uploading them online without her consent.
The court was informed that he posted these images after their relationship had ended.
During his arrest, Slade spat at police officers, hitting one in the face and another on the shoulder.
Prosecutor Talia Keskin described the images as "revolting" and confirmed they were circulated on social media in November of the previous year without the woman's approval.
The judge criticized Slade’s misconduct and his previous employment at Amazon, stating, "You had a job with Amazon but you threw it all away." Slade pleaded guilty to sharing a private sexual photo, assaulting police officers, and causing criminal damage, which resulted in his one-year jail term.
